Does anyone know if those tattoo removal creams work?

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

I have a tattoo on the back of my neck that i don’t like. It didn’t turn out the way i wanted and it looks kinda tacky and cartoonish. I would to get it remove with out having to go through the laser surgery if the cream work. Anyone know anyone that has tried one of them?

Thanx : )

Majik, my understanding is that none of the cremes works. The only removal method is the laser, and it’s imperfect.

Can you get a tattoo over a raised scar?

Monday, July 26th, 2010

I have a raised scar about 2 inches long on my left shoulder, thanks a psychotic knife-wielding ex-girlfriend. I wanted to get my next tattoo there but I’m not sure if I can. It would probably look like crap if I got it done over the scar, so is there even a way I could it removed without laser surgery?

As per another post.. raised scars are different than just your average scar. They couldn’t (or wouldn’t) tattoo over them on Miami Ink.

Can swimming and Neosporin make a tattoo go away?

Saturday, July 24th, 2010

My boyfriend just got a tattoo that says ‘recuerdos’ which means memories yesterday, but now he regrets it so much. We can’t afford laser surgery or any of those tat-b-gone creams. i feel terrible because i feel like i influenced him into doing it. can swimming everyday, getting it really wet a lot and putting on neosporin make it disappear if the tattoo is barely 2 days old?

If it were that easy, no one would be paying thousands of dollars and intense pain with laser to have a tattoo removed….

Has anyone successfully faded a brand new tattoo by going to a tanning bed?

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

I got a new tattoo which I don’t like and I want to fade it as quickly as possible while it is in the healing stages and I thought this method might work. No comments please on how I did not use common sense. Just need help on methods to fade it. Laser surgery is too expensive and I don’t want scarring. Thanks.

using tanning beds is dangerous in the first place without exposing a fresh tattoo to the UV rays.
you seriously damage your skin where that tattoo is and end up with an infection.
you’ll just to have to heal it properly and look into laser removal.

What is the best at home tattoo removal cream?

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

My husband got a smiley face tattoo on his chest before we got married and I hate it. He does not want to do laser surgery because we have been told it is a joke and too spendy. Please give me advice on what cream we should use. Thank you.
well I guess I didnt explain very well. We know that a cream will not remove the tattoo completely but that is fine. Just lighten it enough so he can get something done over it. It is basicly a big black circle with two eyes and a mouth.

Tattoo creams are useless, they really don’t work. And will cause scarring and chemical burns before they ever remove a tattoo. Ink is in the lower layer of skin, any cream will cause an awful lot of damage to get to that.

Laser is the only way to remove a tattoo. It is expensive, but alot of places will have finance plans if you’re really that bothered by it.
Or you can just get it covered with another (darker) tattoo of something thats actually nice. Much cheaper :)

Can you cover up a black tattoo with a flesh colored ink?

Monday, July 12th, 2010

I got a tattoo 10 years ago I hate and I want it removed. I can’t afford laser surgery and want to know if there is anyway to have it covered up or removed?

What the girl said about the crayons is right on. As cool as that would be, it does not work. If you want the tattoo removed, your only real options are laser removal or getting it cut off, and both can cause pretty bad scarring.

try going to a really really good artist and asking them about a cover up. It’s pretty impressive what they can do, as long as you go to a quality artist.

What is the best way to remove a tattoo from home?

Tuesday, July 6th, 2010

I am 16 and got a tattoo that i really regret but I can’t get laser surgery because I can’t tell my parents that I have this tattoo. It is a small outline of a star in black behind my ear. What is the best way to remove it myself from home? i have heard about creams and TCA… but which one works best?

please do not just say nothing will work

Sorry to burst your bubble, but there is NO product that will achieve what you want.those creams are a scam. Good sense is the only cure. and you already show a lack of that.

i need a tattoo removed asap, already had laser, but its taking too long, can i get a skin coulored tattoo? :)

Sunday, July 4th, 2010

i need my tattoo removing on my wrist asap to join the marines. i cannot even apply unless it has gone so i want it gone fast! ive already had 1 treatment of laser surgery but its taking far too long and there is barely any effect. i was wondering if there was a skin coloured tattoo that could solve my problems? the tattoo is dark and been on for 3 years. but quite small. i am not bothered about scars or imperfections i just want to be able to show them that it is no more. thanks

that’s the dumbest thing i’ve ever heard…. my friends husband is in the marines and he has a wrist tattoo and they never asked him to remove it.
Are you sure you’re joining the marines?
