Does anyone know where can I get a course for tatto removal ?

Wednesday, November 9th, 2011

Just I need to get experience on it and I live in new York city can anyone tell me where can I find them?

In California you need to be a licensed medical health care provider–MD, RN, DO, PA, or NP. Contact your state medical board to see who is qualified in New York. Most providers have a background in Dermatology, Plastic surgery, & or lasers to start with. It is not meant for lay people to operate a prescriptive device, and considered illegal here.

My ex, bf threats to kill me because I broke up with him?

Sunday, November 6th, 2011

He tattoed my name and the date we got together, and now i feel like my feelings towards him are dead-
Now he wants ME to pay for removal off the tatto, which would be very expencive.
And im only 19, i dont have a job or anything.
I cant be with him any longer..
Please help?
what should i do?
He told me that he would pay someone to rape and kill me:S im so scared

Be strong and don’t allow yourself to be frightened by his threats and commands. He wants to punish you because you broke up with him.

Every person is responsibile for their own actions. HE was responsible for the tattoo being put on him – it is not your responsibility to pay to remove it. Every intelligent person knows when they tattoo a name on themselves that the relationship could break up, and its a risk they take. A good tattooist could alter the name into a design of some sort – it is a common enough problem brought to tattooists, but in any event that is not your problem., its his. He’s just got to be adult enough to sort out the problem that he himself created by his action.

Secondly, the threat to rape and kill – well its highly likely that these are just angry words thrown around to frighten you. You could file a report to the police, and tell him you have done so, but then put it out of your mind. He probalby had no intention at all of doing any such thing, and is even less likely when the police have him as a number one suspect to any future attack.

Tell him you have advised the police, then sever all lines of communication. He can’t frighten you if he can’t get hold of you to do so. You did the right thing to break off with him – don’t allow his fear tactics to prevent you from moving fully on.

Home salabrasion on india ink tatto?

Thursday, September 8th, 2011

I tatted my friend on his left thumb, three dots. He has had them for 2 days and regrets it because they are too visible. The tat did not get infected. I used a sterile sewing needle wrapped in string with india ink. Cleaned the area very well with alcohol and then applied aquaphor. The tattoo looks fine, it still hurts a little if he presses on it but he researched and learned about the Salabrasion tattoo removal method and how easy it is to do at home. But could it be harmful to try the salabrasion on a fresh 3 day tattoo? or would that even make the results better?

thanks
Just to let you know this is actually working kind of. Its not getting rid of it completely but its fading pretty good. It could be because im doing it my own way. Just wetting my hand pouring salt on it and rubbing it into the tat roughly with my fingers then soaking for 30 minutes in really hot water then after drying applying vaseline. It may not get rid of it but if you got an india ink tattoo not too long ago that your regret you should try this. Faded it pretty good, thats all i needed. For it to fade not to erase completely.

I’ve never heard of this, so I looked it up. Basically salabrasion is a variation of dermabrasion. Though usually people use something harder like a wire brush or pumice stone. As the ink in your friend’s tattoo hasn’t fully settled yet, this might actually work better than waiting until it’s fully healed. As the first couple of sites I read stated, scarring and infection are the two biggest risks from this procedure. I would rate the infection risk a little higher than a home-made tattoo. Since he’s already done that…. If he decides to do it, I’d love to hear the results here on Y! Answers.

REMOVAL OF A TATTOO IN THE WEST MIDLANDS?

Thursday, June 16th, 2011

IS THERE A NEED / POTENTIAL FOR AFFORDABLE TATTOO REMOVAL IN THE WEST MIDLANDS. AVERAGE TATTO REMOVED FOR £500

There is a place in wolverhampton that uses ‘erase’ tattoo emoval method, where they tattoo a chemical into your tattoo that binds with the ink, and lifts it out. It’s worked well on one of mine, but it can take about 5 sessions to remove. it’s cheaper than laser, with less pain and scars, maybe google that.

Tatto cover up question?

Saturday, June 11th, 2011

I want my tattoo gone but not going through no laser removal pain. I know this may sound like a stupid question but do you think I.could cover it up with ink my own skin color going over it? It’s just a question

NO it doesn’t work…ok you regret it and want it gone – your options are severely limited and this is not the point in time that you want to take any S#@t from anybody over a tattoo. I feel ya and laser removal will leave chunks and funny-lookin tissue behind so maybe you get another expensive treatment and dermabrasion to clean it up as well as it can be done, So you have a blank spot that You, of all people remember. Good? Bad? Only you can know. But I’m a proponent of body art and art can happen if you have the right frame of mind and a good artist can change your life (and your attitude) if you seek one out and develop a rapport with him/her. You’ve stepped into tattooland and if you give it a chance you will end up having a different perspective on life and a tolerance for others. The first thing that you should know right now is that mistakes are a learning experience as well as a painful one.

Tattoo Suggestions which Symbolise Freedom and Happiness?

Thursday, April 7th, 2011

Hello,

I stupidly got my EX BOYFRIENDS name tattooed on me – top of my thigh. It is only about 2.5 inches long and is all black, in thin Edwardian Script writing.

I have just undergone my first treatment of non-laser tattoo removal. I will try a maximum of 3 treatments – if it hasn’t been removed however, i would like a cover up tattoo and need suggestions please.

I want to maybe design my own tatto. It was a tough heartbreaking break-up and my EX treated me badly, so I want the tattoo to represnt freedom, happiness, love etc
Thanks Gilli but that sight seems to only mention acne treatment?

how to cover a tatto?

Tuesday, January 4th, 2011

My girlfriend has a tattoo on her right hand, between her elbow and shoulder. Its not big, its prob less then an inch thick and goes around her arm. Since she works in a office, and summer being here, she wants to be able to wear short shirt, what can she put on in order to cover it? whats the price range for the laser removal.?
Thanks,
No she does not like the tattoo nomore

Laser removal is very expensive and it leaves some scarring.

For covering up the tattoo Dermablend works best.

Laser tattoo removal scars?

Sunday, January 2nd, 2011

I need to know if its possible to have laser removal and have no scars left after it.if you have had laser tatto removal with no scars please tell me how many trials you had and how much it costed you.thank you!

I work in tattoo removal and scars are the pain of my life! The fact is that I have seen some very good work with lasers but its never 100%, your skin will never go back to pre tat condition, getting the ink out of your skin is always going to be invasive. Not all tats leave scars with laser, not bad ones anyhow, but there are always pigmentation issues to deal with.
In my practice I use Rejuvi tattoo removal, which I get very good results with, but also, i can never gurantee someone wont scar because we just dont know how a person is going to react to the treatment. I have had very good results with Rejuvi with very little scaring, however, I have seen horrific scars on people done by overly agressive technitians.
I have a blog on my website you may want to read http://dermaeraze.co.uk
