Laser tattoo removal scars?

Sunday, January 2nd, 2011

I need to know if its possible to have laser removal and have no scars left after it.if you have had laser tatto removal with no scars please tell me how many trials you had and how much it costed you.thank you!

I work in tattoo removal and scars are the pain of my life! The fact is that I have seen some very good work with lasers but its never 100%, your skin will never go back to pre tat condition, getting the ink out of your skin is always going to be invasive. Not all tats leave scars with laser, not bad ones anyhow, but there are always pigmentation issues to deal with.
In my practice I use Rejuvi tattoo removal, which I get very good results with, but also, i can never gurantee someone wont scar because we just dont know how a person is going to react to the treatment. I have had very good results with Rejuvi with very little scaring, however, I have seen horrific scars on people done by overly agressive technitians.
I have a blog on my website you may want to read http://dermaeraze.co.uk

Tatto removal?

Monday, December 13th, 2010

Friend of mine is in serious "I think I need to grow up" after assuming he lost a lot of jobs for his neck tattoo. Any technique out there good for removing neck tattoos.

Tattoo removal is very expensive and very painful..the skin would never look exactly the same either. I say he should stop up on some tattoo conceiler (sp?), find out what blend, and learn how to cover it up. That way he can still enjoy the tattoo, it’ll just take a little more time to get ready for work in the morning.

i have a crooked tattoo…..?

Saturday, December 11th, 2010

i have a crooked tatto..i went back to the same place called tattoville in nj and they told me they would fix it doing another tattoo in top of it the one that i have now that is in top of the other one but they never told me that it would look that dark and its really not my style..he told me he was going to do a flower , i said ok but i dont like it i want to remove but i wanted the owner of this place to pay for the laser removal treatment since it wasnt my fault, i called him several times he said he was going to do it but the last time that i called him he said hes backrupt and he has a lot of debts, i dont know if this is true because he still owns the place ….what can i do ???? can i sue him?
i can try to talk to him but i want him to feel the pressure of me doing something against him if he doesnt do nothing about this…because i don’t if he’s lying or not….this happened a year ago and he still owns the place so what can i say to him to make him pay for it, to make him to tell me the truth…i dont want to go through court and stuff like that but in case i have to i’ll do it but i want to try this way just in case we can work something out

there a few things you can do. One thing is go to talk to him calling is not really the best idea. I am sure you can work something out. There is a tiny chance you can sue him but not likely, it would take a long time to do and in the end you will have spent more money on that then you would have to get the tattoo removed. Since you signed the paper work to get the tattoo I am guessing that it will be very unlikely that you would have any case.

I would suggest in the future to ask more questions before getting any tattoo work done.
Look at the design you are getting before you get it.

Also never go back to an artist or shop that has messed up on you. Bad idea as you have found out!

that being said Go speak to the owner or the artist that did it or both. Let them know your intentions, thoughts and feelings face to face.

Good luck with getting that situation worked out.

where in nyc can i get my tattoos removed using eliminiink?

Tatto removal using eliminiink

EliminInk provides courses to learn how to use their product. In the course they use "volunteers" who let the students use the product on their tattoos. I would suggest you contact EliminInk and ask them where you can make an appointment to have your tattoos removed, or possibly to volunteer to use your tattoos in a removal course. Good luck.

is it sore tattooing over a scar?

Tuesday, December 7th, 2010

i have a small ( maybe 1cm circle) keloid scar on my upper arm, sounds so silly becasue its small, but i am so so sefl concious about it, i have worn anything without sleeves since i was 16. It was a mole removal. I really want to cover it somehow and figured a tatto might do it? would it work?
Please no mention of bio oil or scar removal creams etc, it is a keloid scar so is raised and cannot be treated by anything or than surgery, however this can also make it far worse so i would prefer to go for the tattoo option.

Thank you for any answers!

One of my 17 tattoos covers several scars. The areas of scar tissue did not hurt any more or any less than the rest of my tattoo. The scar is still just about visible because the skin was slightly raised and had a different texture BUT now you really have to look for the scars to see them unlike before when it was obvious.
I would check with a tattoo artist to see what they think as scars do vary but from what you describe I think the scar could easily be hidden by a tattoo.

Personally I think your tattoo is very pretty but that’s not what you’re asking. Tattoo removal is a very long and very painful process so make sure that you’re 100% sure you’re ready to go through with that and wouldn’t just rather live with what is a nice tattoo. If you’re certain then you need to be aware that it is going to leave a rather large scar and that it quite possibly will end up looking worse than it does now. However, in answer to your actual question – no I don’t think that you can use numbing cream, for a start I don’t think its very likely to make any difference to the pain level, and secondly when you go to get it removed they are going to wash your arm so its just going to come off anyway. Good luck in whatever you do.

Tattoo removal options?

My boyfriends dream is to go to the marines and i support him… he has a large tatto on his arm and he is going to get it removed any suggestions?

(Thats him and me) his tatto means faith
and how much would they cost?

You are the most cute couple! Good luck with the Marines. There is quite a waiting list to get in. As far as the tattoo removal, laser is expensive, and more painful than the tattoo itself. There is skin grafting, and another process that injects some substance into the tattoo, but I can’t remember the name. Make sure that he doesn’t have to remove the tattoo to join the Marines….

about tattoo removal, a doubt….?

is ther no remedy for removing the tatto other than laser treatment.

its and age old trend , but still after all these centuries why is the scientist do a pigment research to remover the pigments….. its been millions of years but ther is no remedy for this problem….

its the same really, why do people want to mutilate their bodies in this way? Its permanent and people do not think what will it look like in 10-15 years time when they are older!!
Henna dyes should be used which shoud last 4 years or so, everyone would benifit, even the sceptics like me might do it if i new it would not last to long!!
Equals more business for the tattoo parlors, more people having done more often!!
