I’d consider taking the money for ink and piercings and using it to further your education, like maybe
learning to spell. You do not appear to be very mature. I would have guessed younger when reading your post. I was surprised to read you are nearly 18, my guess would have been 14 or 15. Listen to your Mom or move out.

Your curfew is ridiculous! 12am is lunch time.finishes usually 1pm. 12pm is mid night. So you mother won’t let you go out in the afternoon or evening?

If it was 12pm I wouldn’t say that is unreasonable .. especially, if you ask her, you’ll doubtless find she lays in bed awake at night until she knows that you are safely home. Its fine at your age, you can stay out much of the night, but in 20-30 years you’ll need some rest and sleep and be dog tired before then.

I am not saying your Mum is right, but equally you don’t tell us what you do to play your part in the home. You say you are old enough … but do you strip your bed, wash and iron the sheets and play your part there? Or do you still wish to be a little girl when it comes to sharing household chores?

I can’t see your Mum budging until you try and show her how you are mature and please her a little more in playing your part. You may be keen to leave asap but the world outside is hard and expensive. We can’t judge how you approach her but I don’t agree with yelling at you either… but do you just leap in with what you want? a ‘home’ is made by everyone in it. Re-assess where you are and the best strategy to make Mum realise you are more grown up and no longer her little child.

The 12 o clock curfew is pretty generous and the tattoo and piercing after 18 is up to You if you live in her house or not she can't make you get laser removal and seriously.. rip it out shed go to jail.. but if your that upset about it get a place of your own when you turn 18 so you don't have to worry about it

When you are 18, move out, get an apartment, get a job, start paying your own bills and for your own car, your own food, clothes, drugs, abortions etc.

then you can have all the tattoos and piercings you want, with out mom and dad’s ok.

until you dod that you need to listen to your parents.

Tell her, she never gives you a chance to prove her, tell her you would like one oppertunity to prove to her you are trust worthy. show her how much of a good head you have on your shoulders, tell her how good your grades are, and that you havent done anything to make her not trust you! She needs to learn eventually she will be loosing her child, and needs to start winging off of you now, you need to have the freedom that every teenage has (as i am a teenager, (17) and can stay out till 2 A.M.) explain to her you need to learn things on your own, and the more she keeps telling you that you cant do something, will just make you want to do it more! Hope i helped

if you live under her roof, you gotta obey her rules, or she might kick you out, maybe if you want more freedom, you really should consider moving out.
And if you move out, she can’t force you to remove your tattoo or take out your piercings.

Well if you want you're freedom than move out! You maybe turning 18 but you still live under your mother's roof. I was 18 and still had rules that I had to follow while I was living at home. So put up with it she just cares for you and you should be thankful because a lot of parents don't care what their kids do!
