There is no such thing as free tattoo removal, unless you are sleeping with the person doing it. Removal is very expensive, very painful, and takes quite a few sessions to fade it. You would be better off getting it covered up.

You made the choice to get it, you will have to make the financial choice to have it removed. You aren't going to find anywhere to get it removed for free, and it would be cheaper and less painful to just have it covered up.

I don’t think you’ll get it free anywhere to be honest. Maybe one day, there’ll be clinical trials for new tattoo removal techniques but I wouldn’t rely on it.
Either pay up or get a cover up.

On black tattoos laser removal works very well, but it takes a long time (6 – 15 sessions 4 – 6 weeks apart). There is little chance of scarring unless you have very dark skin. It will look faded and crappy in the meantime.

it is not 100%, and yellow is even harder to get removed.. its very painfull, and costly.. get a coverup even after laser removal u can still see some ink and a scar

cheeze grater would be bad!! i’ve heard some people talking about using heavy grit sandpaper to rub the skin off, BY HAND NO POWER TOOLS, to get to the layer that has the ink in it… but you’ll probably have one UGLY scar on your neck and i’d not want to do it myself since you got all those blood vessels right next to the skin.

See if another branch of the military has a "slightly" less restrictive stance on tattoos. If i recall the rule its that it can’t show above your buttoned collar and past the cuffs of your sleeves.

I don’t know if it works though, I always thought lasers was the only way to remove a tattoo.

i find it hard to believe that you cant join the army because of a tat..watching cnn last night and this soldier firing his weapon has an almost full sleeve tat....
